Every POL gas cylinder bottles have the same ON/OFF operational mechanism. It's easily operated by a simple gear. When the regulator knob is turned on, the gear teeths, in ON position, the mechanism moves up and gas is released. The gear works as a chamber room where it gets released. Now there is only one way for the gas to flow through. The knob and the valve stem are operated by simple gear method. It is the only part which is not stationary.

Gas cylinder bottle comes in different shapes and sizes to meet all customers specific demands. Brands such as Total gas, Calor gas, Flogas and Supergas 50kg gas cylinders valve stem operate with the same gear mechanism. The valve regulator are attached permanently fitted on the 50kg, and can be switched ON/OFF with a simple control.

After fitting your gas cylinder bottle with the hose pipe into the POL valve connection, gas FLOW can be opened by turning the knob anticlockwise, half turned, till the stop. In this position, the valve is opened and the gas can flow. The gas FLOW can be stopped by turning the knob a clockwise half turn, until the stop, and to reach the end. In off position the valve is closed. No gas flowing. For example, to switch on, you turn the control knob left. While to switch off, turn the control knob to throw right.
