Listen, do not attempt to cheat your customers. Once they know that your cooking gas don't last compared to others they will stop patronizing you. You shady ways will spread like wide fire. Your business reputation will damage. In this business, truth is the key word. It is not easy for them, your customers to now refilling #1,000 per kg. Nigeria situation is not easy as that. Word of referral is what will bring you more profit and more customers, not how much you are knowledgeable about the business or how beautiful your shop/plant is.

Always sell complete kg for customers. The shortage are fixed. No matter how you do it, you will still get shortage. You are now the one that will start to be conscious of how you purge air from customer cylinders. Make sure you don't over-purge. Go and ask anybody who owned gas shop, they will tell you that there is shortage in the business. It is not what you refill that you will eventually get when you begin selling. This is a fact especially for LPG retail resellers.
Shortage is constant for retail resellers and it varies. I've found 49.4kg inside a cylinder before and 47kg inside another one, so it depends on how careful and the level of experience you have with handling the gas and scale.
