"CNG To Cost N230 per kg" - Presidency
Don’t worry the demand will increase the price asap. It has already increased. It will increase further as demand keep rising.
In another news, the Special Assistant to the President on Special Duties and Domestic Affairs, Toyin Subaru, has announced that the planned rollout of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) buses in Nigeria will reduce the CNG price to N230 per kg.
I don't think this is a good idea. Nigeria is among the country whose much of its incomes comes from crude oil, and petroleum is the most. If Nigeria federal government comes with strategies of making CNG vehicles much available and its exporters learn from it, what do you think when the petroleum comes to no use in this era. I think government should only focus only on building a foundation of good leadership.
When can they understand the condition. Bring back subsidy. Nothing pass this for now.
Gas is last resource in the energy transition template. Attention should be more galvanized upon gas investment technologies than on petrol (PMS).
Engr. Michael Oluwagbemi, the Project Director of the Presidential Compressed Natural Gas Initiative (P-CNGi), believes Nigeria's abundant gas resources can power the nation's transportation and industrial sectors for 97 years, offering a cost-effective alternative to petrol.
If they can establish cottage outlets with necessary infrastructure most especially power where SMES can go produce or process their products. Cost of imported electronics increases.. No problem it is business of demand and supply.
Cost of fuel increases, government is wicked.
