You can't deny that fact that the cost of energy is becoming very expensive in Nigeria at the moment. Converting petrol generators to run on LPG gas is the latest trend in Nigeria right now.
I did a tutorial in 2019 and explained a lot of people then, but the innovation was not well accepted then. Now is the time the innovation is having massive acceptability.
I went ahead to conduct my research after reinstalling again and came about this:
•N1800 got me 3KG of Gas at N600 per KG
•N1800 got me 3.69L of Petrol at N488 per Litre (L) (Note: other States sells for N500 and above)
The analysis of the time the gas and fuel was able to run a 3.5KVA Generator is as below:
•N1800 worth of Gas powered the generator for 9Hours
•N1800 worth of Petrol powdered the generator for 5.53Hours; approximately 6Hours.
So using Gas saves a minimum of N125.33 per Hour.

ReplyDeleteWhat will make 390 generator and is cooking gas last of just one day please
ReplyDeleteJust buy enough LPG gas to fill the gas cylinder. However, avoid overfilling. Do not go by what others are saying, that there's an oil to make LPG converted Generators last longer.
DeleteIt depends on the usage and capacity/load of the generator or your equipments.
I am interested in this setup
