Gas is cheaper to run a generator than Petrol. LPG generators have the same power and performance as petrol generators, with the added benefit of up to 35% fuel savings.
In particular, you may be thinking about cost-efficiency and which option will be cheaper in the long run. It is cheaper to run a generator on propane than gasoline, as gasoline has traditionally been the greater power output as a fuel source.
What is the difference, you may ask?
Air gas and fuel almost at the same price currently. With the recent removal of subsidy of PMS products in Nigeria, petrol is said to go up to as high as N550 per litres. This is also the same as thr current 1kg at N650 for LPG gas. Secondly I don't think that is very safe air gas been together with generator which generate more hit.
