How Long Does A LPG Gas Regulator Last?

Do note, there is no fixed lifespan for LPG gas regulators, sometimes they continue to give good service and sometimes, they don't. However, you shouldn't overlook the need to get original gas regulators as always. An original LPG gas regulator cam save you money, stress and unpleasant damages.

Most gas regulators out there at the local markets are Chinese made, and wouldn't last long. The duration of these type of gas regulators is not more than six months to a year. They wear off quickly and are made up of Bassett steel that has not enough nickel to retain pressure at atmospheric temperature. Imported Italian regulators can served for ten to fifteen years before it develop some technical troubles. 

You should always look out for trustworthy brands when purchasing LPG gas regulators, as some works well only for a year, and some gas regulators are known to develop mechanical faults such as getting stuck while turning on and off, or flow of gas being lower than the capacity needed for the appliance being fuelled. It is recommended that you check the user manual thoroughly before any purchase.
