Hose is a flexible pipe, made of leather, rubber or other material, and used for conveying fluids, especially water from a faucet, hydrant, or fire engine. LPG gas hose pipes are attached with domestic regulator and used for supplying gas to utilities being fuelled. It helps transport the flow of LPG gas from the connected regulator valve to the appliance being used.
Hose are pipes for conveying a liquid or gas, which is why it is recommended to purchase only approved quality when ordering for rubber tubes, and LPG regulators from authorized distributors. Some hose pipes are substandard and short of the prescribed norm. They are not of a quality material, not able to fulfill safety requirements. With time and usage, these substandard hose pipes gets deteriorated, causing gas escaping in case of accidental attachment or breakage of the rubber hose used to supply has to the user appliance.

It is the connection that you need to watch for leaks. The cylinder bottle should be outdoor and just connected to the appliance by permanent piping. This would greatly reduce the risk of leaks and explosions. For example, if the connection gets damaged and leak, if outdoor, it usually just dissipates. Always, check the rubber tubes associated with your LPG cylinders. They should not be damaged or found to be leaking. LPG will cause natural rubber and some plastic to deteriorate. This is why only hose pipes and other equipment specifically designed for LPG should be used.
