How Many Gas Bottles Or Pots Are In 1 Ton Of LPG Storage Tank

When obtaining a storage tank for your LPG gas plant, remember to go for one with a gas guage indicator attached to it. This will help you know the gas level and gas remnant in your tank. If the gas guage indicator is attached at the top of the storage tank, get a strong ladder close so you can properly check for the correct guage after a refill. Don't trust all LPG supplier or distributors, as the LPG truck meter reading is already been manipulated. Also, most of this LPG gas suppliers set the truck meter to KG instead to read in litres. That is more good reason you should know the gas guage level of your storage tank before calling for a refill. Make sure the gas storage tank is all empty of gas before contacting with your supplier. However, you may also decide to call 2 days beforehand, when gas guage indicates 10%.

On an empty storage tank, the gas guage always indicate a 0% level. Mini LPG storage tank like the 3,000 litres container is enough for the gas skid. You can decide to refill 1 ton or 2 tons of LPG, depending on the sales PROFIT and marketing flow.

Pots or bottles are terminologies used to explain the kg or litres in container sizes that make up a ton in a storage tank. For example, a pot/1 pot means 12.5 kg cylinder bottle. So,

1 tons => 80 bottles/pots. That is, 12.5 cylinder bottle size, in 80 places, can be measured From a ton/1 ton of storage tank. To convert this to litre, 1 kg of LPG does not equal 1 litre of LPG. With this cleared out, a 12.5 kg cylinder size will contain 26 litres of LPG. Also known as the water capacity, can be checked on the cylinder bottle neck ring.

So, 

2 tons => 3,500 litres
1 ton => 1,750 litre

i.e  26 litres (12.5 kg) x 80 (1 ton)
=> 1,750 litres
