How To Calibrate Digital Scale For 50kg Gas Cylinder

Some local reseller shops selling 50kg do experience gas shortage due to wrong calibration. So, how do you calibrate digital scale to refill gas cylinder, as most people after refilling 50kg gas cylinder, after selling, they get 41kg, which is a shortage.

I will speak on this matter in three ways:

1. The gas you bought might be pressure gas . It will never be complete at your side .

2. It might be over vetting. When trying to release the air from the cylinder.

3. Try to use a digital scale where you will get the correct figure.

Most times, the problem is the gas, as most gas are pressure gas.

First of all how do you sale a kg? For example I am selling a kilo #1,200, you can input any amount. Once the scale count from 5 to 95, you get ready to stop. Then, where you have "WEIGHT" will automatically shop 1.00, then you stop it,  Some customers may want to buy a gas of #1,500, what you have to do is that you use your calculator i.e 1500/1200 if you're selling #1,200 per kilo, it will give u 1.25 kg. So immediately it reaches 1.25 or 1.30, you stop it.

Check two things before the calibration:

* Check the tap you're using, if is not leaking,

* Check the verve tap of the 50kg if it's not leaking. If the two is not leaking, then it is from the calibration. Talking from experience.

Get a dead weight. To enable you check the integrity of your selling scale.
