Is CNG Gas More Better, Cost Effective And Cheaper To Petrol Fuel In Nigeria?

Well, I did say yes. The present administration of president Bola Ahmad Tinubu is already rolling out plans to lunch over 1 million CNG powered vehicles to Nigeria roads, I believe this is a green light. However, since this innovation is new to Nigerians, we can't say just yet. 

ADVANTAGES OF CNG OVER PETROL

1. Its Cost effective 

2. Its Eco friendly 

3. Low running cost

4. Flexibility of bi - fuel usage

5. Higher fuel economy

DISADVANTAGES OF CNG OVER PETROL 

1. It has lower performance than petrol

2. Problem of refilling the gas tank because its not common yet.

3. The gas tank occupies boot space.

4. The tanks are small, about 32 liters so not good for long journey unless you double the tank.

5. High cost of initial installation.

The only downside is the installation cost. It's done for about 350k to 450k depends on the weight and size of your car, but at the end you will be the one who will enjoy it the most, because 1kg of CNG is like N200 Naira now and 12 kg is equivalent to full tank of petrol. Imagine that? Thats like N2, 400 Naira for full tank. 

So my people this fuel palava no go if stop us.
