You can only recalibrate the scale, which only a scale technicial knows how to do that. You can't even do that yourself, and 5 unit is best for you if you really understand what scaler quantity is.
But mind you, there are some scale you can't recalibrate. Don't be deceived by technicials who claimed to know how to calibrated all scale.
To reset, it need technical know how. If you try by error you may ended up damage the scale. Before calibration, there are many things you need to check. If a scale is reading on it own without placing any object on it, if you caliberate such scale it wouldn't work and you may ended up causing serious issue to the scale.
You can't reset it yourself. Maybe it is because your scale is 150kg and that's why its reading in 5 units. 100kg scale is the one that mostly reads in 2 units. So is 300kg reading in 10 units. However, this is not as so always. Even 100kg reads 5 units. Mine is example.
it can be reset very well. It's better when reading in 5 units. Reading in 5 units good. Unfortunately, you can't do it yourself, but it's possible.
