1. First off, if you have an automatic connected gas pump and motor pump on a single switch, you will get problem. The gas pump, dispenser will stop once the motor pump stops. Then, meter reading on the control panel resets itself.
2. Always remember to close all taps/valves connected to the LPG gas skid, also switch off gas circuit after a refill or at the end of each day work. Forgetting to do that, can lead to overflow the next day, gas flow becomes higher than the capacity, causing gas escaping in case of accidental detachment or breakage of the gasline/pipes used to supply has the the gas pump.
3. Always remember to test "RUN" the LPG gas skid filling system everyday, before the start of operation. At the start of each day, switch on gas circuit, motor pump engines, control panel, and run both together, allowing all to run for about 20 minutes or so. This helps LPG circulation to the necessary needed parts of the filling system. It also helps the engines workout. Just like exercising allows blood flow to the rest of the body, so as test running before refilling operations helps distribute LPG evenly.
4. Lastly, remember to service or replace old equipments on the LPG gas skid to prevent static movement. You can do self maintenance by greasing non-stationary parts to reduce friction. However, only skilled persons must work on gas circuits. Inspect the gas circuit regularly. Also, replace adapters, valves, nozzles as recommended by the relevant regulations.
