1. Make sure only skilled persons must work on gas circuits. Don't forget to switch off gas pump valves/taps, motor and dispenser after usage. Most times, gas skid operators do forget to switch off gas circuit, which can result to excess gas FLOW and even leakages, which may eventually leads to fire or explosions. Valves are designed to stop gas escaping in case of accidental detachment or breakage.

2. Before refuelling any gas cylinder bottle or container, do check for faults. Always perform a leak test after attaching a new gas cylinder, every time you reconnect your regulator with soapy water detergent. Place the solution in a liquid spray bottle. It's a good idea to leave the spray bottle closer to the gas, as it's always a handy reminder to perform the leak test if you smell something strange or gasous.

3. Do not attempt to refill any gas cylinder or container dimed to be damaged or rusty. Gas leaks may cause fatal fires or explosions if triggered.

4. Always remember to test-run the whole gas skid filling system. This allows smooth circulation or flow of gas to various needed parts, so to prevent compressed air refills.

5. Don't forget to close the dispenser attached nozzle valve/tap completely. After a refill, check if nozzle gun tap is properly closed. Failure to check this, can result in gas leakage, which may cause fatal fires or explosions.

6. Never try to move gas cylinder bottles during operation. In the event of any faults being found, close filling system taps/valves, and immediately contact your gas repairman.

7. Keep children and pets away from gas skid location. A one metre "Kid Free Zone" is a good idea. Young children should always be supervised to ensure they do not play with any appliance.
