* Make sure they understand all aspects and areas of the job. You will want employees who will show up on time for their shifts. Let them know if the weekend is included, as not everybody are comfortable working on weekends, especially sundays.

* Schedule your employees shifts to allow for simple coverage during the entire business day.

* Run cash reports everyday. Keeping complete inventory is one of the best ways to keep your record books and ensuring your stocks are always full. So, do your best to run cash and inventory runs everyday.

* Keep a watchful eye on your employees. When you hire someone new, you want to make sure they are doing a good job. But still, unless you are worried about the employees or gas plants. You don't need to watch them all the time. You should strive to only hire trustworthy employees.
