How To Replace LPG Pump Dispenser Nozzle/Piston Gun

Gas cylinder valves are different for each country. Different diaphragm types and adapters. So, make sure you replace adapter as recommended by the relevant regulations. Also, make sure that the inlet and outlet of the cylinder valve and adapter are correct and suitable for the cylinder and the application. To replace gas pump nozzle, all you need is to unscrew and insert a suitable piston. With the help of an adjustable wrench or spanner, lose the former from the hose pipe. Replace with the suitable, compatible piston, together with a thread seal tape, to desire amount. Make sure you encircle the screw part with enough thread tape to prevent leakages. Fasten the newly inserted piston to the hose pipe of the gas dispenser with the adjustable wrench, correctly fitted on it. Apply an adhesive glue to further tighten both together. The glue allows the piston stay perfectly fine with the hose pipe. Assemble parts while materials is tacky (5 to 10 minutes). Tighten them together, but avoid over-tighten so not to squeeze out the glue. Allow to cure for at least 15 minutes before using. Silicone fully cured in 24 hours.
