LPG AutoGas Vs Electric Vehicle: Which One Is Better In Kms and Mileage?

Petrol Car Vs An Electric Car Or LPG Autogas Vehicles: Which One Is Cost-effective And Better In Kms?

LPG
will beat petrol for sure. A petrol car and an electric car were put to the test - and the results might surprise you......

“The journey cost $131.92 in the electric vehicle, while it cost $118 in the petrol car.”

However, for same trip on LPG, $62.92 was saved. Means nothing, once enough sheeple are penned into EV'S you will be at the mercy of the power companies. Wait and see. Humans in some sort of power always have ulterior motives. Better not to get caught up with them with their money making schemes - as opposed to being at the mercy of OPEC.

However, we have alternatives like CNG, LPG, Diesel, petrol e.t.c so the choice is yours. People have that choice now. LPG and CNG are more better in all rounds. So between petrol and diesel, the vast majority of people are currently at the mercy of opec. At least with EVs, eventually when most houses are partially/fully offgrid, you would be essentially cutting out the power companies.

Does LPG anything to do with OPEC?

LPG is mostly refined from crude (afaik) so yes, it would also be subject to OPEC rulings.

Around 50-60% is from refined natural gas (from fracking between) and 40% is from refining crude. So no, its not 100% based on countries, and yes, it would be partially at the mercy of opec. But much less so, since LPG is basically a byproduct.

However, EV vehicles may be ideal for local travel, but interstate towing not much fun. You would end up running a generator in the back. So no different to fossil fuel. You would want one hell of a generator.

Most electric car owners I know charge at home from solar and off peak electricity. They rarely use commercial chargers. Off peak costs $14 to charge a long range tesla from 1-2% to 95%. Solar costs far less. Done right, it's potentially far cheaper than LPG. But it still costs money to get solar, and then upgrade every 8 years or so. However, most solar will even last more than 8 years, unless those cheap junk. Most of the solar panels installed when the government decided to subsidise them are still in service ,and the average life expectancy on most panels is 20-30 years. Solar warranties are longer than that these days.

The next generation of batteries (within 10, maybe 15 years) will make EV interstate towing far better than conventional vehicles. Sure, the initial investment is high, but long term rewards are higher. But EV vehicles don’t make sense economically yet, except with an LPG car, you aren’t paying $80,000… which is a cost that needs to be taken into account. I’d say LPG is better than both.

...... and the government is abandoning LPG.
